Treatment Overview
Surgical lip augmentation is a surgical face procedure done by placing a graft or fat to the lips, whereas surgical lip reduction involves creating an incision to remove lip tissue and thereby lift the lip. A lip lift can be done by itself or with the above options, and results in more visible tooth show, shortening of the length of skin above the lip, and a more youthful appearance.
- Length of Surgery: 1 hour
- Anesthesia: Local with Sedation, or General
- Post-Op Activity: Avoid any stretch or manipulation of the lips for 2 weeks
