Specializing In
Breast Augmentation Beverly Hills
Breasts have long been a symbol of femininity and sex appeal. Many patients seek breast surgery as a way to improve their self-confidence, restore breast appearance after pregnancy or weight loss, align their physical appearance to their gender identity, or correct asymmetry in their natural breasts.
Tummy Tuck Beverly Hills
One of our most requested surgical procedures, a tummy tuck (or abdominoplasty) can help you achieve the flat, smooth torso that you’ve dreamed about. The tummy tuck is not only a key staple of the Mommy Makeover, but also a highly-sought-after procedure simply on its own. It involves the removal of excess skin and fat from the abdomen, combined with the tightening of the abdominal muscles.
Breast Reduction Beverly Hills
Breast reduction in Beverly Hills is a procedure that is associated with both physical relief and cosmetic enhancement. There are many reasons why a patient would choose to undergo a breast reduction, or reduction mammoplasty. The breast surgery is generally performed to reduce the size of the breasts, improve breast shape and nipple position, and lessen associated symptoms such as neck or back pain, shoulder grooving, and rashes below the breasts.
Renuva®
We all experience age related loss of fat in the face and body, and may also have areas that would benefit from targeted smoothing with volume. Renuva® Fat-Derived Filler Injections are a short in-office, non-invasive method of restoring lost volume.

Step 1: At The Clinic
During your consultation, Dr. Anita will take time to learn more about your motivations and goals, understand your concerns, and discuss the treatment in detail. She will go through your medical history and perform a physical exam in order to determine the best plan to reach your goals, and make sure you are a good candidate for surgery.
Step 2: The Surgery
The day of surgery, Dr. Anita will meet with you once again in the pre-operative area, and review the planned procedure(s). Next, she will mark the surgical sites, and go over any additional questions you may have prior to surgery.
Step 3: Post Surgery
After surgery, you will be provided with postoperative care instructions, and instructions for follow-up. Dr. Anita will see you for the first postoperative visit 1-2 days after surgery, with an additional visit the week after for drain removal if appropriate. Additional postoperative visits are typically spaced at 2 weeks, 6 weeks, 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year after surgery.

Beverly Hills Plastic Surgeon FAQs
Do you accept out-of-town patients?
Yes, we do! We’re thrilled when patients travel to us for their procedures.
For patients located outside of the Beverly Hills or Los Angeles area, we typically start with a virtual consultation. No matter where you live, you can schedule a virtual consultation from Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. To start the virtual consultation process with Dr. Patel, please contact us.
At your virtual appointment, you will meet over a video call and you can ask Dr. Patel all your initial questions and share your goals for your procedure(s). If you have shared photographs prior to your consultation, she will review them and share her tentative recommendations, and the associated risks, benefits, and recovery timeline.
This is followed by an in-person visit. If you are getting a non-surgical treatment, you could receive your treatment on the same day as your first visit.
For surgical patients who live out-of-town, we start with the virtual consultation. From there, we book an in-person consultation (or an in-person pre-operative visit at minimum) prior to the scheduled surgery date.
This means you likely need to arrive in advance of your surgery for your pre-operative consultation. At this appointment, Dr. Patel will perform a physical exam and take photos. She will review your surgical plan, get all the details confirmed, and answer any outstanding questions. She and her team will also give you a timeframe for post-op visits to be done in person and/or virtually.
What insurance does your practice accept for cosmetic surgery?
We accept PPO insurance as an out-of-network provider. We do not accept any HMO plans, Medicare, or MediCal.
In general, procedures that are cosmetic or aesthetic in nature are not typically covered by any insurance, unless there is a functional or medically necessary reason to have the surgery.
If you meet criteria for a given procedure, our office can help you obtain a pre-authorization in advance of surgery. Pre-authorizations do not guarantee insurance will pay, but they can make it more likely that your insurance may cover all or some of your procedure costs.
Can I have more than one procedure done at once?
Yes, it is possible to have multiple procedures performed during a single surgery, depending on the type of procedures involved and your overall health.
Whether or not this applies to the procedure(s) you are interested in depends on a variety of factors. Whether or not you are a good candidate for multiple simultaneous procedures can be discussed during your consultation.
Do you offer payment plans?
We do offer payment plans. Our payment plans are set up in advance of your procedure(s), and typically involve patients paying in installments with payment due in full three weeks prior to the procedure.
We also offer financing through CareCredit or Alphaeon for patients who prefer to get the procedure first and pay it off over time.
Is plastic surgery safe?
All surgical procedures pose some inherent risks, and some hold more risks than others. Plastic surgery encompasses a wide variety of procedures, so we cannot make a blanket statement that all plastic surgery is safe for all patients. That said, Dr. Patel is a board-certified plastic surgeon and performs her surgeries in accredited medical facilities that meet strict standards for safety, equipment, and personnel.
Your consultation will help determine if you are a good candidate for a given procedure and if it can be performed safely. This thorough preoperative evaluation is crucial for a safe, successful procedure and includes a detailed medical history, physical examination, and necessary laboratory tests to assess your overall health and suitability for surgery.
In addition, proper post-operative care is vital for recovery and minimizing potential complications. Dr. Patel and her team provide patients detailed, personalized instructions regarding wound care, activity restrictions, and follow-up visits. It’s essential for patients to actively participate in their post-op recovery periods for the best results.
What is a board certified plastic surgeon?
The only board certification that allows one to be called a board certified plastic surgeon is the one granted by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
Be aware that there are other types of boards that sound similar, but these may not actually be boards recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS).
For example, the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery is often mistaken for a true board, when in fact it is not. You can check to see if your surgeon is certified with a physician search on the American Society of Plastic Surgeons website — don’t rely on the doctors word alone since they may be referring to a non-recognized board.
How do I prepare for plastic surgery?
Both physical and emotional aspects are involved when you are preparing for plastic surgery.
Of course, being in good physical health is essential. This requires that any existing medical and psychological conditions are stable and optimized, so you are physically prepared for your plastic surgery journey.
Ensuring that you are at a stable weight and physically active prior to surgery is crucial, along with proper nutrition and a healthy, sustainable diet. Having a recovery plan in place for resuming physical activities after your procedure is also important, along with the necessary support to heal properly.
Emotionally, you need to feel ready for the surgical journey and have a support system in place during the recovery. You should have realistic expectations and goals, and feel comfortable that your surgeon has addressed all your concerns.
To cover the practical aspects of preparing for plastic surgery, ensure you have planned time off from your responsibilities and that you’ve cleared your schedule to rest and recuperate without added stress.
Finally, remember that healing takes time, and initial results might not reflect the final outcome. Staying patient and positive is crucial for emotional well-being during recovery.
What aftercare do you provide?
Dr. Patel is very invested in seeing her patients through the entire process. At her practice, you will not be passed off to support staff after your procedure — Dr. Patel personally sees all of her surgery patients at every postoperative visit.
During these appointments, she will check for signs of infection, proper healing, and overall progress towards the desired outcome. She will also ensure that you understand the healing process and what to expect at each stage of recovery.
All of this helps to ensure you are healing properly, both physically and emotionally. You will be given written and verbal instructions on how to care for yourself post-surgery, including wound care, medication management, activity restrictions, and signs to look out for that may indicate a complication.
Patients are encouraged to ask questions and communicate any concerns they may have during the recovery period. Dr. Patel and her team work with you to ensure that you experience a supportive recovery process and that your desires are achieved.
Is there a consultation fee?
There is a nominal fee of $250 for your initial consultation. The consultation offers a chance to meet one-on-one with Dr. Patel and see if your goals and expectations align with Dr. Patel’s aesthetic vision and expertise.
At this appointment, Dr. Patel meets with you personally and goes through your entire medical history. She performs a physical exam as well. From there, she will formulate an assessment and work with you to put together a customized procedure plan to best meet your goals.
The consultation process includes educating you about different surgical options, what to expect before, during, and after surgery, and addressing any questions or concerns.
Your first consultation is the beginning of an important relationship — one where trust is paramount. Dr. Patel and her team make themselves available to nurture you through the process.
