Breast Augmentation

01

Most Requested

Breast Augmentation

Breasts have long been a symbol of femininity and sex appeal. Many patients seek breast surgery as a way to improve their self-confidence, restore breast appearance after pregnancy or weight loss, align their physical appearance to their gender identity, or correct asymmetry in their natural breasts.

Signature Procedure

The Body Rebalance

Pregnancy, weight loss, menopause, and the natural changes of time can reshape the abdomen, breasts, and waistline in ways diet and exercise cannot fully correct. The Body Rebalance is Dr. Patel’s customized approach to complete body contouring — restoring proportion, refining the waistline, and creating a balanced, naturally feminine silhouette. A refined, modern alternative to the traditional mommy makeover, designed to look confident and natural, never exaggerated or obviously surgical.

Breast Reduction

03

Physical Relief

Breast Reduction

Breast reduction in Beverly Hills is a procedure that is associated with both physical relief and cosmetic enhancement. There are many reasons why a patient would choose to undergo a breast reduction, or reduction mammoplasty. The breast surgery is generally performed to reduce the size of the breasts, improve breast shape and nipple position, and lessen associated symptoms such as neck or back pain, shoulder grooving, and rashes below the breasts.

Concierge Level Care

Getting started with Dr. Patel

Dr. Patel and her team have a singular goal — that throughout your entire experience with her boutique practice, you receive a concierge level of service and care. From the moment you step into her office, everything is designed to make you feel comfortable and well cared for, and your needs are first and foremost.

Discover what to expect during each step of your journey.

  1. 01

    Step 1: At The Clinic

During your consultation, Dr. Anita will take time to learn more about your motivations and goals, understand your concerns, and discuss the treatment in detail. She will go through your medical history and perform a physical exam in order to determine the best plan to reach your goals, and make sure you are a good candidate for surgery.

  2. 02

    Step 2: The Surgery

The day of surgery, Dr. Anita meets with you in the pre-operative area, reviews the procedure plan, marks the surgical sites, and addresses any final questions. She then works alongside her anesthesia team to keep you comfortable, performs the procedure with the precision committed in your consultation, and personally oversees the transition into recovery.

  3. 03

    Step 3: Post Surgery

After surgery, you will be provided with postoperative care instructions, and instructions for follow-up. Dr. Anita will see you for the first postoperative visit 1-2 days after surgery, with an additional visit the week after for drain removal if appropriate. Additional postoperative visits are typically spaced at 2 weeks, 6 weeks, 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year after surgery.

Beverly Hills plastic surgeon FAQs

Yes — we’re thrilled when patients travel to us. Patients located outside of Beverly Hills or LA typically start with a virtual consultation, which you can schedule Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. You’ll meet Dr. Patel over video, ask your initial questions, and share your goals. If you’ve sent photographs in advance, she’ll review them and share her tentative recommendations, along with the associated risks, benefits, and recovery timeline. Non-surgical patients can often receive treatment on the same day as the first in-person visit. Surgical patients arrive in advance of surgery for an in-person pre-operative visit where Dr. Patel performs a physical exam, takes photos, and confirms the surgical plan. Post-op visits can be done in person and/or virtually.

We accept PPO insurance as an out-of-network provider. We do not accept HMO plans, Medicare, or MediCal. Cosmetic and aesthetic procedures are typically not covered by any insurance unless there is a functional or medically-necessary reason to have the surgery. If you meet criteria for a given procedure, our office can help you obtain a pre-authorization in advance of surgery. Pre-authorizations do not guarantee insurance will pay, but they can make it more likely that your insurance may cover all or some of your procedure costs.

Yes, it is possible to have multiple procedures performed during a single surgery, depending on the type of procedures involved and your overall health. Whether this applies to the procedure(s) you’re interested in depends on a variety of factors, and whether you’re a good candidate for multiple simultaneous procedures can be discussed during your consultation.

We do offer payment plans. They are set up in advance of your procedure(s) and typically involve paying in installments, with payment due in full three weeks prior to the procedure. We also offer financing through CareCredit or Alphaeon for patients who prefer to get the procedure first and pay it off over time.

All surgical procedures pose some inherent risks, and plastic surgery encompasses a wide variety of procedures. Dr. Patel is a board-certified plastic surgeon and performs her surgeries in accredited medical facilities that meet strict standards for safety, equipment, and personnel. Your consultation will help determine if you are a good candidate for a given procedure and if it can be performed safely — the thorough preoperative evaluation includes detailed medical history, physical examination, and any laboratory tests needed to assess your overall health. Proper post-operative care is equally vital; Dr. Patel and her team provide detailed, personalized instructions covering wound care, activity restrictions, and follow-up visits.

The only board certification that allows one to be called a board-certified plastic surgeon is the one granted by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Be aware that there are other types of boards that sound similar but may not actually be boards recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS). For example, the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery is often mistaken for a true board when in fact it is not. You can verify a surgeon’s certification using the physician search on the American Society of Plastic Surgeons website — don’t rely on the doctor’s word alone, since they may be referring to a non-recognized board.

Both physical and emotional readiness matter when preparing for plastic surgery. Physically, any existing medical and psychological conditions should be stable and optimized, and you should be at a stable weight and physically active prior to surgery, along with proper nutrition and a healthy, sustainable diet. Have a recovery plan in place for resuming physical activities, along with the necessary support to heal properly. Emotionally, you need to feel ready for the journey with a support system in place during recovery, realistic expectations, and comfort that your surgeon has addressed all your concerns. Practically, plan time off and clear your schedule to rest without added stress. Remember that healing takes time — initial results might not reflect the final outcome.

Dr. Patel is personally invested in seeing her patients through the entire process — you will not be passed off to support staff after your procedure. She personally sees all of her surgery patients at every postoperative visit, checking for signs of infection, proper healing, and overall progress toward the desired outcome. You’ll receive written and verbal instructions on caring for yourself post-surgery, covering wound care, medication management, activity restrictions, and signs that may indicate a complication. Patients are encouraged to ask questions and communicate any concerns throughout recovery so Dr. Patel and her team can support you through the process.

There is a nominal fee of $250 for your initial consultation. The consultation is a chance to meet one-on-one with Dr. Patel and see if your goals align with her aesthetic vision and expertise. She meets with you personally, reviews your entire medical history, performs a physical exam, and then works with you to put together a customized procedure plan to best meet your goals. The consultation also educates you on different surgical options, what to expect before, during, and after surgery, and addresses any questions or concerns. Your first consultation is the beginning of an important relationship — one where trust is paramount.
