Gynecomastia – Male Breast Reductions in Beverly Hills: What You Need to Know
Breast size in males can be affected by a number of different factors, including weight fluctuation, hormonal imbalance, medical conditions, and certain drugs or medications. Many men are unhappy with the appearance of overdeveloped breast tissue, and find that it affects their self esteem or prevents them from enjoying a range of activities, such as sports or swimming.
Male breast reduction (also known as gynecomastia surgery) is performed to reduce the volume of unwanted breast tissue and reduce excess skin if present. The surgery may include liposuction, glandular excision, and/or skin excision depending on the amount of fat, glandular tissue, and skin to be removed. The procedure is tailored to the masculine physique for the chest, providing natural-looking results with reduced volume and proportional areola size and shape.
