Platelet rich plasma releases growth factors to stimulate the body’s natural wound healing process, using it to further enhance rejuvenating effects.
Platelet rich plasma therapy has been found to work and effectively treat a wide variety of conditions. a general term used for different chemical peels, which one depending on the office, and is typically a milder peel with little downtime.

PRP is platelet rich plasma, and PRFM is platelet rich fibrin matrix. PRP is liquid and can stimulate the release of growth factors where it is placed, while PRFM is in gel-like form and can release growth factors for up to seven days.
Platelet rich fibrin is obtained by mixing platelet rich plasma with calcium chloride, stimulating the conversion of PRP to PRFM in about 15 minutes.
PRFM facial is when the PRFM is applied topically after a skin resurfacing treatment such as laser, microneedling, or radiofrequency resurfacing. The resurfacing treatment creates microchannels that can allow the PRFM to enter the skin while still in liquid form, before solidifying to a gel.
PRFM injections are when the PRP has been converted to PRFM, and is still in the liquid form before solidifying, and it gets injected in this form to targeted areas needing improvement.
The PRFM itself can last up to seven days, and during that time it sets into motion the longer lasting effects. That is why the true results keep getting better over the following several weeks.
