AquaGold Fine Touch is a unique non-surgical device that combines microneedling with microinfusion, using a patented 24K gold needles that contains microchannels, to allow for microinfusion of a custom cocktail directly into the skin itself. This is different from microneedling where the needles are solid, and topical serums are applied onto the skin surface and allowed to soak into the skin from above. The result is smoother, brighter, more radiant skin, with less visible pores. Commonly treated areas are face, neck, chest, and hands.
We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, cash, and cashier checks. We also work with two third-party financing companies, Care Credit and Alphaeon Credit. You can find more information and apply for credit online using the links below.
During your consultation, Dr. Patel will take time to assess your skin, and learn more about your concerns and goals. She will go through your medical history and perform a physical exam in order to make sure you are a good candidate for the treatment.
The day of the treatment, topical numbing medication will be applied, and after allowing it time to take effect, the skin will be cleansed and prepped for treatment. Dr. Patel will create a custom cocktail based on your specific skin needs, and this cocktail will be “stamped” into the skin, i.e. comfortably delivered into the skin itself via 24K gold microneedles as a microinfusion.
Following treatment, either the remaining custom cocktail serum, or other serum, will be applied to the face. This is to be left in place without washing for the first 12 hours. You will also be given recommendations for post-treatment skin care products to optimize your results.
Microneedling simply means using microneedles to create microchannels in the skin, whereas microinjection involves direct injection of products deeper into the skin through microchannels in the microneedles themselves. In microneedling, any products are applied topically into the skin and allowed to soak in to the degree they can. With microinjection, the products are delivered where they are needed while the microneedling is taking place. Both treatments stimulate the body’s natural wound healing process and lead to new collagen production.
Microchanneling refers to the creation of microfine channels in the skin using microneedles. Products can be delivered to the surface of the microchannels with the hope of it soaking in (as with microneedling), or the products can be infused directly through the microchannels into the skin (as with microinfusion using AquaGold). Both are beneficial treatments with noticeable results.
A microchannel microinjection facial is a type of skin treatment that uses fine microneedles to create microchannels in the skin, to allow for delivery of products directly into the skin (as opposed to applied to the skin surface, Biotech Health).
AquaGold Fine Touch is a unique 1st-of-its-kind patented device, that combines microneedling with microinfusion. The AquaGold Fine Touch uses 24K gold needles that are finer than a human hair, and contains microchannels, to allow for microinfusion of a custom cocktail directly into the skin itself. The treatment is virtually pain-free.
An AquaGold facial is a microinjection facial, where a patented device using 24K gold hypoallergenic microneedles, finer than a human hair, is used to deliver a bespoke skin care cocktail (such as hyaluronic acid, Botox, vitamins, etc) directly into the skin. The downtime is minimal, while the results are noticeable and include a smoother, brighter complexion, while minimizing pores, scarring, and fine lines.
The results of AquaGold can last 3-6 months, the longevity of visible results depending on many factors such as what skin maintenance products are being used, consistency of sun protection, and overall starting point of the skin. Some patients benefit from a series of 3 AquaGold facials (1 per month), followed by maintenance treatments every 3-4 months.
AquaGold pricing starts at $850 for full face, and greater if adding additional areas (neck, decollete, hands) or adding PRP to the custom cocktail.
