Facelifts and Neck Lifts are procedures where the artistry is just as important as the anatomy, and the procedure(s) must be entirely customized to individual features and goals.

During your consultation, Dr. Patel will take time to learn more about your concerns and goals, and discuss the treatment options in detail. She will go through your medical history and perform a physical exam in order to determine the best plan to reach your goals, and make sure you are a good candidate for surgery.
The day of surgery, Dr. Patel will meet with you in the preoperative area, review the planned procedure, and go over any additional questions you may have prior to surgery.
After surgery, you will be provided with postoperative care instructions, and instructions for followup. Dr. Patel will see you for the first postoperative visit 1-2 days after surgery, with an additional visit the week after for suture removal if appropriate. Additional postoperative visits are typically spaced at 2 weeks, 6 weeks, 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year after surgery.
There are a variety of different techniques and ways to do a facelift. Not every surgeon uses the same techniques, and there is no single technique that applies universally to all patients. One thing most have in common is the location of the incisions, typically hidden along the border of the face and ears.
A mini facelift generally offers mini results. It involves a more limited dissection of tissues and lifting.
There is not a limit per se to how many facelifts one can have, but the surgeon and patient need to decide if the goals are realistic and safely achievable.
The recovery after a facelift typically involves a dressing for a week, and swelling that subsides to a large part over the first few weeks.
A neck lift is typically done using a small incision under the chin, and the same incisions hidden along the borders of the face and ears that are used for the facelift.
A neck lift is mildly painful after surgery, and can feel tight with movement until healed.
How long a neck lift lasts depends on the technique used, and the characteristic of the skin and tissues, but typically lasts for 4-10 years.
